Born and raised in Budapest, Marti finds that her design aesthetic is strongly influenced by insights she gained while living in Hungary. As a child she discovered her love for architecture when she saw the Fallingwater in a book and fallen in love with shapes and geometry blending in with nature so seamlessly. While being a young student, she fostered her passion for geometry by sketching.
When she moved to Brighton, East Sussex, amplified by people and cultures, her empathetic nature has inspired her to think about how interiors can shape our life experiences. She received her diploma of Interior Design from Brighton City College and deepened her knowledge at the University for the Creative Arts while earning her bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture.
Before joining AW Spaces, Marti has led mid-scale projects and partnered on tackling some larger, complex-scope projects at FSL Interiors.
While being trained at Oktra, Marti has collaborated with designers and contractors, balancing textures, colours and lighting to create spaces that reflect clients’ needs and personalities.
Marti’s passion for interiors shows through her strong focus on detail and communication. When designing, she uses the principles of harmony, good proportion, and suitability. Favourite CAD command: trim.
Skilled at designing beautiful spaces under a range of budgets, timelines, styles and requirements, Marti leads her clients through every step of the process.
In her spare time, Marti loves to travel for experiences and inspiration and enjoys food, culture and art in the city.
