Our talented design team combine problem solving with creativity and pragmatism with flair resulting in beautiful workspaces that actually work. We approach design with our ‘outside the box’ mindset, exceptional creativity and personality but without ego. Expect the unexpected.
The layout of your space is one of the most critical factors in considering change. Using intelligent thinking, best practice and the knowledge of how your business operates, our team of interior architects are qualified to transform your layout and reimagine the way you use your space to the best advantage. Your final floor plan has to work for you today, tomorrow and for the length of your lease – future proofed for whatever comes next.
Concept and Interior Design
Following the layout and space planning being confirmed, we start to develop the interior design of your space. Gaining a clear understanding of your vision, brand and identity is critical to allow the design team to work affectively on proposing design features and colour schemes. At this phase in the process we like to work closely and collaboratively with your team to ensure the direction taken is a result of a combination of input from all stakeholders. The team will develop design features covering furniture, lighting, colour schemes and elements of biophilia such as interior planting, and will present them through digital mood boards and 3D visualisation in computer generated images and even video walkthroughs and virtual reality to help convey our concept for your new space.
We aim to minimise the normal risks associated with construction by giving careful consideration to the detail of our design, in relation to how it will be built on site and how it can be delivered in the safest and most effective manner. Taking the concept and interior design and turning it into a practical reality our technical design team make sure that new or existing services work with the proposed layout. They will produce a full technical drawing pack for the construction teams to work from this drawing pack is used to assist in statutory approvals and gaining landlord consents when required.
With working from home likely to be a major consideration for the long term and the office likely to become a less regular destination, brand experience should be a key consideration when designing an office as it now needs to succinctly showcase your company’s vision, underline core values and promote company culture so every visit by a team member, client or key partner leaves each individual inspired having bought into your brand.
Office Furniture & Lighting
The furniture and fixtures on your project form an integral part of the interior design and can often be used as dynamic design features accentuating and complementing specific areas of the building. Whilst our design team will make careful choices and recommendations, our clients will often like to be involved in this part of the process, and visits to showrooms in the Clerkenwell district are offered as an effective way of seeing items such as floor finishes, light fittings and furniture in the flesh. Alternatively, samples can be delivered directly to your offices and if required we can create mood boards and set up meetings to run through options and make choices together.
