When LBox Communications relocated to Richmond Brewery Stores, they needed more than a visual refresh. The business was growing, and the new office had to support operational work, confidential technical activity, and client-facing meetings, while remaining adaptable for the future. With a fixed budget and deadline, the space needed to be purposeful from day one rather than overdesigned or inflexible.

With a fixed budget and deadline, the space needed to be purposeful from day one rather than overdesigned or inflexible.
AW Spaces began by understanding how the team actually worked. The existing layout limited growth and lacked sufficient meeting and presentation space, making it difficult to balance focus and collaboration. Our role was to create clarity, shaping an environment that supported current needs while allowing the business to evolve without disruption.

The final layout provides structured workstations with capacity for expansion, alongside dedicated areas for confidential work, meetings, and demonstrations. Informal breakout spaces are integrated naturally, supporting wellbeing and day-to-day comfort without detracting from productivity. Each area was designed to serve a clear function, ensuring the space works efficiently rather than feeling crowded or compromised.

The design draws on the character of the building itself. Exposed brickwork was retained and celebrated, giving the space an industrial warmth, while a light, restrained palette improves brightness and openness. Subtle colour accents introduce depth and distinction without relying on overt branding, creating a professional environment that feels considered and modern.
The finished office enables LBox Communications to work with focus, collaborate effectively, and host clients with confidence. It is a space designed to adapt as the business grows, supporting changing work patterns without the need for significant reconfiguration. The result is a workplace that works hard every day and will continue to do so over time.
