As one of the top schools in London for the third year in a row, it was imperative that King’s College school had exemplary design to match. The full design and fitout of the sixth form common space took inspiration from the corporate world with the view of getting students in the mindset for business in the next stages of their careers.
Spacious, collaborative, social breakout spaces were complemented with soft furnishings, a café, quiet areas for private work and open buzzy spaces for teamwork. A variety of muted tones were used for a more sophisticated hint of colour; moss green, straw yellow and pebble greys were used to pay homage to nature whilst still tipping its hat to modern workspaces.
