Adform, a global digital media advertising technology company headquartered in Copenhagen, were looking to fit out their new Farringdon workspace. Lead Interior Designer Lisa McLeod collaborated with the exec team who had a vision of mid-century classic design combined with an industrial warehouse style.
The star of the show was the exquisite parquet flooring throughout the office, which was purposefully kept exposed as a key design feature; one way to do this was to visibly keep walkways large and spacious so that it could be seen. Solo meeting rooms offer privacy, without being excluded, due to floor to ceiling Crittall style partitions. Collaboration spaces were provided with folding walls between meeting rooms to allow maximum flexibility. The industrial aesthetic was complemented by the addition of a new exposed brick entrance, bare ceiling pipework, and copper details dotted throughout the office. To implement green initiatives, reclaimed light fittings were taken from an old John Lewis factory in the Midlands and to ensure minimal waste, bespoke mug racks were made on site from copper pipework.
