Our project team will give you the confidence that the creative design process will be backed up with a flawless technical delivery phase ensuring that your project is delivered on time, on budget, without disruption and with minimal fuss.
We select the best project manager for your fitout based on the size and scope of the works proposed, and a dedicated site foreman is assigned to your project to ensure that the works are delivered smoothly without any problems. Project managers will set up feedback and communication reporting based on a frequency that suits your level of involvement. Typically, we hold weekly site progress meetings and carry out weekly site progress reporting. Your project manager will look after all the technical aspects of the necessary reporting for health and safety, and will ensure that the build delivers on the statutory requirements for building control and other legal certifications. We undertake a condition survey prior to works commencing and this can often become a useful document for your subsequent lease negotiations.
Delivering a successful and hassle free project in a live working office can often prove a challenge. Where it is required, our teams carry out a detailed health and safety analysis to ensure all risks are considered – specifically around material movement, access and egress to the property, fire risk and health & safety. Only when we are satisfied these can be met effectively will we commence works. Often we install temporary divisions to allow works to be completed in specific areas whilst other areas remain occupied – ensuring a phased completion of refurbishment works. Where possible we encourage clients to find alternative space to work in, but where this is not possible, we have the experience of carrying out projects over nights and weekends or around occupied offices.
Aftercare and Maintenance
Your workplace consultant and project manager will stay in touch for the years to come after your fitout or refurbishment to ensure your space works as you had envisioned, to assist with any teething issues, to help with remedials and to advise on any future expansion works required to make the office work better for you.
We value every client as a long term partner and will often undertake small works or office churn to help your facilities team enable short notice changes to the workplace. Whether it’s the creation of a new meeting room, installation of power and data for a new bank of desks or a new teapoint, our projects team can seamlessly deliver small works and workspace churn – out of hours or over weekends – to give your company the space to grow and flex.
