High voltage utilities specialist Modus Utilities have taken up residence in a new development in Greenwich that combines office and residential space.
In a sector not typically characterised by creativity, Modus were keen to break the mould with their office move and chose their own way of doing things – by investing in the interior design.
The building has natural light pouring in through full height windows and boasts beautiful views looking out onto the iconic Laban Dance Centre building. The works comprised of a complete ‘shell & core’ fitout including CAT A elements such air conditioning, power and data, lighting, washrooms, a new mezzanine floor and staircase, and CAT B items including partitioning, kitchens, floorcoverings and bespoke and loose furniture. The interior design is industrial but contemporary; upstairs is light and bright with exposed industrial services, reclaimed timber and pops of colour; downstairs has a different atmosphere; slightly dark and edgy.
