Knowing what’s happening and when – office fitout

The process that keeps you updated on the progress of your office fitout can be the difference between complete peace of mind and complete… well, not having complete peace of mind.

The amount of work involved in your office relocation can look daunting, but a tightly planned and well communicated schedule will put everyone at ease and minimise downtime. The key to communication is to remember it’s your fitout and you can decide how you’d like to be kept up to speed with what’s going on. Before Action Workspace go on site, we hold a client meeting to find out your preferred means of communication and how frequently you’d like updates. Aside from the ‘always on’ direct line to your Project Manager (for details of the programme, commercials and procurement); many clients choose the option of a daily email update and a weekly site visit.

It’s exactly this approach that ensured telecoms provider Adept Telecom stayed totally relaxed throughout their recent office relocation.

Group Financial Director, John Swaite: “Action Workspace did such a great job on our Tunbridge Wells office that when we acquired Centrix in Fleet we didn’t hesitate to get them in again. We needed to be in the new office by Christmas. They promised us it would be a 4 week job, and true to their word the works started on the 16th November and finished on the 14th December – it went like clockwork.”
