We recently had the privilege of meeting with our team in a fantastic co-working space in Brighton’s Lanes – Projects.
Located in the heart of the world-famous Lanes, and just a short walk to the buzzing seafront, this is boutique co-working at its best.
Projects is home to a vibrant collection of creatives and start-ups – catering for both freelancers as well as small to medium size teams – with household names like Micro Scooter and GoDaddy included in the roster.
The Grade II listed building was once the offices of William Attree, who is believed to be Brighton’s first solicitor and subsequently had the monopoly of the legal work in the area in the early 1800s. Mr Attree reportedly bought the plot of land in Ship Street for £50 in 1775!
There may be bigger and more modern co-working buildings in Brighton and the surrounding area, but nothing with more romantic charm, historical richness and quintessential British architecture.
With the doors first opening in 2019, this inspirational community is expanding with a 2nd building, located directly behind the flagship space in Ship Street, due to open this summer – and will offer desk space for another 60 people as well as a state-of-the-art members’ gym and fitness studio, just one of the many membership perks.
Led by their dynamic MD Beth and supported by Mila and the team, the space caters for everything from meeting spaces (check out the Library and the Sitting Room and Bar!) through to collaborative spaces for individuals and serviced offices up to 30 people. We love the fact that one floor is more collaborative with noise and buzz, and another floor is a quiet zone for focus working – which gives users choice to ensure maximum productivity.
